Disaster Recovery (DR) forms part of a Business Continuity Plan and needs to be carefully designed to fit in with your overall business requirements. In its simplest form DR is the partial or full restoration of a server following an incident which has destroyed or damaged stored data.
But why the Clock?
Well it’s all a matter of time. In quantifying the severity that a loss of service is to your business, you must consider the following around the time of system failure:
- How much data can you afford to lose in the time immediately before the system failure?
- For how long can your business realistically continue to function until the system is available again?
We don’t know the answers to these but in consultation with you we will find out.
What we do know is the correct solution for any given situation and we are happy to share our knowledge with you. Find out by contacting
